Introduction：

Assane Cassimo is graduated from Eduardo Mondlane University, Mozambique. A theater practitioner and general coordinator of Teatro em Casa.

Teatro em Casa is a project whose mission is to take the theater to the community. A group of students from Eduardo Mondlane University created a project called "Teatro em Casa（Home Theater）", an initiative that aims to bring "theater to the people". The idea is to avoid what Assane Cassimo calls the "elitism of the theater" that development of the performing arts remain concentrated in the city area. The project give space to lovers of the performing arts in the suburbs of Maputo.
