WALK in progress

Principle Investigator:Andrew Loo Hong Chuang

Rapid urbanization is a global reality and it is predicted that over 68% of the world's population will live in urban areas by 2050. Social connectedness, a key factor in having a good, meaningful, healthier as well as happier life, will be a growing challenge when cities merge together to create urban settlements on a larger scale. WALK In Progress (WIP) is both a collective and a project. As a collective, it is made up of individuals who use walking as a method to explore, understand, and document the development of our cities. Walking is our way of (re)connecting with the environment. As a project, WIP aims to invite collaborators to create and co-create artistic projects as an intervention to reimagine built environments that support communities.
