name: Jane 483200730 English Dept. Junior Year comment: Chagall, "Le Temps N'a Point de Rives" This picture is a combination of different images. First the fish has a wing and further more it carries a clock stand in its claws, and a guitar in its beak. The fish is colorful and the color also resembles same to the clock and the guitar. Below it seems to be a river and side it has some tall building and also besides the fish their seem to lie a woman like almost dead. The color of the water and the sky seems to be the same bright color. So, this picture gives me a feeling of happiness and total control by the fish.
