name: Junior Karen Huang 483200376 comment: Kahlo, "My Birth" 4/11/1997 This painting surprises me when I first look at it because it contains not only birth but death. In the painting, we can see the woman who is giving birth to a baby maybe dead because her head is covered with the blanket and that is what we would do to a dead person. Furthermore, the picture which is hung on the wall is a woman's face and it seems to me that she is peeking the process of the birth and she may be the woman's face who is giving birth.
