name: 英文三 紀月雲483200120 comment: Toyen, "Magnetic Woman" It is hard for me to connect the title and the picture together. I fail to discover any female characteristics in the picture. As for the part of "magnetic", itis also difficult for me to see any part related to "magnetic". All I can sense from this pictureis the feeling of calmness and softness. The whole picture seems to me as the sea world. If the orange object were the carnation of woman and "magnetic" refers to "attractive", I would say nothing attractive to see on this "woman". Instead, I would regard the orange object as a certain unknow creature living in the sea world. And this mystetious creature is more attracttive to me. Maybe, woamn, in the painter's mind,is similaar this mysterious creature of the sea world. It looks so soft and comfortable in the waves of sea. Perhaps, the reason why woman is attractive lies in her mystry which arouse people's interests to get close it and see what on earth it is. name: Dept.
