About the Speaker: Naifei Ding teaches in the English Department at the National Central University, Chungli, Taiwan. She is a member of the Center for Sexuality Studies and the International Master's Program in Inter-Asia Cultural Studies, NCU campus (University System of Taiwan). She has written Obscene Things: Sexual Politics in Jin Ping Mei (2002), and, with Liu Jen-Peng and Amie E. Parry, Penumbrae Query Shadow (2007).  Liu Jen-Peng, Chang Hsing-Wen, Wong Wing-Kwong and Ding Naifei have co-edited Wangliang Wenying II: Zhongjianwu (Penumbrae Query Shadow II: Thing-in-between, 2022).
