Call for Proposals: ICCS students' research group
Objectives:
In order to strengthen international collaboration networks in Northeast Asia, Southeast Asia, South Asia, and globally, and in alignment with the development direction of the International Center for Cultural Studies, the center encourages students to plan and form student research group teams. Students will be provided with relevant subsidies and allowances.
Application Procedure:
Please fill out the application form, seek guidance from a researcher at the center for this project, and attach a research proposal. Send the application to the email address: iccs@nycu.edu.tw
*In the subject line of the email, please use "National Yang-Ming Chiao Tung University International Center for Cultural Studies Student Research Group Application: [Title of Your Group]" and keep the confirmation email from the center as proof of submission.
Eligibility:
Students pursuing master or doctoral degrees in Taiwan, who are advised or recommended by researchers participating in the ICCS integrated research projects.
Application Deadline: From now until Sep 30, 2025 (*Results will be announced by the mid of October 2025).
Project Implementation Period: November 1, 2025, to April 1, 2026
Deadline for submitting project outcomes: by July 31, 2026.
Execution Guidelines:
Application and Execution:
Students are responsible for the entire research group project, from conceptualization to execution, and should consult with their advisors. Advisors should not play an active role in the research or planning within the research group; they are responsible for supervising the feasibility of the project and providing feedback on the final research outcomes.
Research Proposal Guidelines:
The research proposal should not exceed 2,000 words and should include the following:
