Transit Asia Media Lab: 2022 Spring Lecture Series

The Transit Asia Research Network (TARN), initiated by the ICCS-NYCU, aims to establish a trans-national research network that bridges research institutes with interdisciplinary researchers in the humanities and social sciences, to work on a joint project on Asia in Transition in the 21st century.

Transit Asia Media Lab (TAML), one of the main themes initiated by TARN, focuses on various modes of artistic intervention and cultural resistance. Starting from Spring 2022, TAML will launch image-making workshops, film festivals, and lectures. We encourage researchers and students to develop practice-led research and present their research through multi-media technology in innovative, creative, and experimental ways.

In the 2022 Spring Lecture Series, Transit Asia Media Lab has invited scholars/artists to share their experience working in between practice and theories through their respective research projects as artistic intervention and cultural resistance.
