tammy ko Robinson

Formerly faculty of the School of the Art Institute Chicago and the San Francisco Art Institute, she now serves as an Associate Professor at Hanyang University where she teaches cinema and emergent media. As an artist-researcher whose works have been shown widely, she has held senior residencies with the Asia Culture Center (South Korea), and Asia Art Archive (Hong Kong).

Introduction

tammy ko Robinson is an artist-researcher based in Seoul. Her work explores decoloniality and the stewardship of airwaves, land, and water through videos, installations, and archive creation. She will conduct a conversation with Myoungjoon Kim, president of Mediact, about documentary film education in South Korea and reflect on nearly 30 years of documentary workshop teaching.
