曾任高雄橋仔頭文史協會執行長、理事長，高雄大學、高雄醫學大學、文藻外語學院講師，台新藝術獎觀察委員。
現任高雄白屋營運長、社團法人金甘蔗影展協進會理事長、台灣藝術發展協會常務監事、文化部公共藝術學者專家。
獲獎：全國優良兒童劇本首獎（1997）、「海洋文學獎」首獎（2000）、「台灣文學獎」報導文學評審獎（2001）、
客家學院（交大竹北六家校區）小問禮堂（近六家五路一段）
