To those who are interested,
Welcome to the Summer Program, coordinated by the Inter-Asia Cultural Studies International Master Program, NCCU (IACS-NCCU).
The courses will be offered from July 4th to July 18th, 2022.
The major theme is: International Perspectives on Inter-Asia Cultural Studies.There will have four courses, designed for different focus. They are:
-Folk Cultures in Asia
-Special Topics on Inter-Asia Popular Culture Studies
-Comparative Studies of Histories and Societies in Asian Countries
-Political-economic Tendencies in Asian Countries
Each course will have 5 lectures on specific topics. They are given by scholars from abroad as well as faculties in NCCU. To conclude courses, there will be a field trip for students to immerse themselves in the cultural and social milieu of Taiwan. Your proficiency in both English and Chinese is mandatory because courses will be taught in bilingual format.
In addition, we offer scholarships to those who are interested in taking courses. It will cover your tuition fee, living cost, etc., while studying in NCCU, Taiwan.
Please fill in the registration form (https://reurl.cc/9GOolv)and submit necessary documents, including your transcript and a short essay of self-introduction (in English or Chinese). We will keep you updated and notify you if you are accepted or not.
