The City of Transit (made by CRG, in collaboration with IWM, Vienna), tells interconnected tales centering the Calcutta Port --of indentured workers, warehouses, lascars and refugees--now forgotten in urban memory. Waves of labour and migration, from near and far, make the contemporary migrant city, its migrant histories surviving in the nook and crannies of Calcutta.
