導師：
賽．法立．阿拉塔斯教授來自馬來西亞，是新加坡國立大學社會學教授，也合聘於該校的馬來學系。他的研究領域是歷史社會學、社會科學社會學、宗教社會學和跨宗教對話等。已出版的專著包括Alternative Discourse in Asian Social Science: Responses to Eurocentrism (Sage, 2006), Ibn Khaldun (Oxford, 2013), Applying Ibn Khaldun (Routledge, 2014)和Sociological Theory Beyond the Canon (與Vineeta Sinha合著, Palgrave Macmillan, 2017).
