This project will see visuality and modernity as relational factors crucial in shaping Postwar Taiwan and Asian societies, in which the constructions of visual regimes are apparent. The future project will focus on the production and construction of visual cultures, sensations, and the history of photography in Taiwan and Asia. Through the
angles on geopolitics, visual events, phenomena, archives, and media archeology, we shall explore the potential themes of image/visual politics.
