Imagining Home and Nation: Sinophone Visuality and Overseas Chinese Studies

This project brings together communication studies and psychology to investigate the issue of identity in the overseas Chinese community. Specifically, it looks at films and other visual productions as the medium to understand how Chinese families abroad experience the sentimental education of nationalism.
