Abstract: Allen Chun's recent book, Forget Chineseness: On the Geopolitics of Cultural Identification (SUNY Press, 2017), has prompted various commentaries.  In the spirit of Jean Baudrillard's Forget Foucault, the author will explain the book's background considerations, aims of analysis and future challenges, then open it up to the discussion.
