Introduction

Since 1986 filmmaker Valerie Soe has created nearly two dozen experimental and documentary films, explicating social and political concerns such as racism, representation, and hidden histories of Asians living in the United States. She will discuss her filmmaking process and how her work intersects with organizing and activism on the Asian American community.
